Just got the new Google Camera app on my Moto X and was playing around with the Photo Sphere feature. There were some glitches because I moved a little. Once it is made you can make a static version like I have below. Click the Google+ post to move around in my Photo Sphere!

My work held a design contest for our softball team "Guy In A Dinosaur Costume". My friend Derek Mit sketched the guy and I took it and designed it up. There was a 2 color limit so I did white and neon green. We didn't win :(

801 Grand - The roof is made out of copper sheeting that was designed to form a green coating of verdigris over time, much like the Statue of Liberty. However, unlike New York City, the air salt content in Des Moines was so low that the desired oxidation process failed. The result was the copper turned a dark brown. Discussions on possible removal of the top layer of copper that would allow crews to purposely cause the oxidation process to create verdigris resulted in the decision to leave the roof as is in its current state. - wikipedia

Book of the Month: The Human Face of Big Data
This is a giant coffee table book that I slowly read over the course of about 3 months. It has its own app that is interactive with the book and plays videos if you hold your phone over the photos. It is like a giant hardcover magazine with different stories on every other page with large photos and infographics. I got it at a book sale for $3 and it was a total steal.
